Manage Jobs

  • Job Details.


    The job details screen will show the main details that belong to the job through the following TABS:


    1. Job Details Tab


    • Customer/Contact/Location 

    • You have the option to select an existing customer – This will automatically populate the above fields

    • You ALSO have the option to create a new customer

    • Job Type 

    • These will describe the different operations in the business as performed by the technicians on eth fields


    • Description 

    • Describe the reason for the Job

    • Assigned employees 

    • This is the technician assigned for the job


    • ADD Items Worked On

    • This refers to Inventory / Assets items that bay be required for a particular Job


    • Comments

    • This is for additional comments that are related to the job. Usually used for technician comments on the job.


    • Job Statuses will Also appear as per the the progression of the Job

    • Job Booked

    • On way to site

    • Work in progress

    • Work Completed

    • Invoice and Close


    1. Timers Tab


    • Timers can be created in 3 different ways:


    • They can be started and stopped by using statuses to allow some automation in the system.

    • Timers can be started/stopped by using the Start/Stop timer.

    • Manually create a timer with a set amount of time, either using a start time/end time or a total duration.


    • The Timer Tab will show a collection of all the timers that were started for the job and a total at the bottom. ( This allows for better control within you business)

    • Any form of running timer can be edited after the timer has stopped running.



    1. Item Used Tab


    • This would refer to Inventory / Assets (Covered in a separate Module)


    1. Quotes/Invoices/Purchase Orders


    • These tabs will only show if there are any that are linked to a job. 

    • They can be created in the job by going to Options and clicking on either create button.

    • These screens will just show a list of each item linked.


    1. Attachments


    • You are able to add any form of attachment to the Job Card that is 10 MB or less.

    • This screen will show you different tiles and whether it is an image or video or document.


    1. Communications


    • This will show all communications that belong to the job and any that are from linked items e.g Quotes/Appointments



    • Click the SAVE button once all fields are filled 

    • Click ARCHIVE  to Jobs can be archived  (if you want to view these you can use the filter )

    • Click CLOSE JOB
