How to create assets

  1. From the sidebar menu select Inventory.
  2. Then select Assets.
  3. On the top right click the Create Asset button.
  4. In the customer selector start typing to select a customer or add a new one.
  5. In the contact selector start typing to select a contact or add a new one.
  6. If the job requires a location, in the location selector start typing to select a location or add a new one.
  7. In the inventory selector start typing to select a inventory or add a new one.
  8. Fill in the Serial Number or leave blank to auto generate.
  9. Set the purchase date.
  10. Fill in the warranty period in months.
  11. Fill in the purchase amount.
  12. Fill in the invoice number (Optional).
  13. Fill in the serial number (Optional).
  14. Fill in the custom field 1 (Optional).
  15. Fill in the custom field 2 (Optional).
  16. Set the last serviced date (optional).
  17. Click Create Asset to complete the process.
  18. Or Click Create and Duplicate to complete the process and add another asset with the same details.
