- From the sidebar menu select Inventory.
- Then select Assets.
- On the top right click the Create Asset button.
- In the customer selector start typing to select a customer or add a new one.
- In the contact selector start typing to select a contact or add a new one.
- If the job requires a location, in the location selector start typing to select a location or add a new one.
- In the inventory selector start typing to select a inventory or add a new one.
- Fill in the Serial Number or leave blank to auto generate.
- Set the purchase date.
- Fill in the warranty period in months.
- Fill in the purchase amount.
- Fill in the invoice number (Optional).
- Fill in the serial number (Optional).
- Fill in the custom field 1 (Optional).
- Fill in the custom field 2 (Optional).
- Set the last serviced date (optional).
- Click Create Asset to complete the process.
- Or Click Create and Duplicate to complete the process and add another asset with the same details.
